The second annual Run Across America takes place on Saturday, June 12. Race day runs from 12:01am in New York until 11:59pm in Honolulu, and participants can choose from a 5k, 10k, or half-marathon (or go for all three!) and they can be completed from anywhere within the day. Participants can run, walk, bike, wheelchair or even get on the water and kayak, and the race provides separate leaderboards for each.
We love the inclusiveness of the race, and how it can be done anywhere in the U.S. -- and we really love that the event supports Feeding America by doubling all donations. In the past year, the race has donated 4.7 million meals across the country. This year, the race is also offering free entry for frontline workers.
For more info on the race, check out nationwiderun.org. Registration includes a super-soft race shirt, race packet with bib, and exclusive tracking app. Early registration is $30 and ends on Saturday, May 1; after that the price rises to $35.
GIVEAWAY: We are giving away one Race Across America entry, along with an All-Season Runner mug to one newsletter subscriber this week! To enter, simply sign up to the list here by May 1.
